The Problem

Aggregate for cut-off or trench drains require large quantities of stone and major equipment to install.  Material, equipment and labor cost are high. During the installation of cut-off or trench drains, time and labor become a costly factor.To excavate trenches for the traditional drainage systems (pipe and stone), major equipment must be used and large amounts of excavation will need to be hauled away to make room for the traditional drainage system.

The Solution

By installing a prefabricated drainage system using AMERDRAIN and AKWADRAIN products, excavation is minimal, installation time and the overall cost of installation is reduced.

AMERIDRAIN Total Drain sheet drain system combines any regular AMERDRAIN sheet drain section with the unique TOTAL-DRAIN section. In the TOTAL-DRAIN system, the regular sheet drain performs its normal function of water collection, while the TOTAL-DRAIN section provides both water collection plus a high-profile section for water flow to the designed drainage exits.

AKWADRAIN Strip Drain is designed to replace perforated pipe and stone drainage systems in various applications. It provides a significantly higher flow rate as well as increased ease of handling and installation.

The product can be used alone or with other American Wick Drain products, depending on the application.

Cut-Off Drain

AMERIDRAIN 500 sheet drain is designed primarily for vertical, one-sided sub-surface drainage applications requiring an increased compressive strength and a high flow capacity.  AMERDRAIN 500 can also be used in selected horizontal applications. The core side of AMERDRAIN 500 is placed against the wall surface of a foundation, retaining wall or other similar structure. AMERDRAIN 500S provides full-coverage protection to waterproofing materials.

Fittings are also available to make transitions and connections go smoothly.
