What are Spunbond Geotextiles?

Spunbond Geotextiles are composed of thermally bonded, continuous, polypropylene filaments. During the fiber extrusion process, thousands of tough, superfine continuous filaments pass through a patented “pre-stretch” stage and are directionally oriented into a sheet that is thermally and mechanically bonded. This patented production technique is one of the main reasons for the unique properties and uniform quality compared to other geotextiles.

What are the benefits of Spunbond Geotextiles?

Ounce for ounce, Spunbond geotextiles deliver more tensile strength and tear strength than most needle-punched nonwovens for endurance in heavy load applications. Spunbond geotextiles outperform most needle-punch nonwovens in resisting installation damage, which results in a longer service life.
