The Modular Wetlands® Linear is the only biofiltration system to utilize patented horizontal flow, allowing for a smaller footprint, higher treatment capacity, and design versatility. It is also the only biofiltration system that can be designed downstream of storage for additional volume control and treatment.
While most biofilters use little or no pre-treatment, the MWS Linear incorporates an advanced pre-treatment chamber that includes separation and pre-filter cartridges. In this chamber sediment and hydrocarbons are removed from runoff before it enters the biofiltration chamber, in turn reducing maintenance costs and improving performance.
